RAINBOW 'E' SERIES MOTOR
220 / 230 / 240 volt !
This is main unit motor assembly for e-series (ONE SPEED) Rainbow vacuum

To replace the motor you will need:

Take off clear plastic side panels
Take 4 or 6 screws hidden under the bottom edge of above mentioned panels
Remove the motor unit cap assembly
Remove motor air filter
Remove 4 screws and then metal motor retaining ring
Remove motor
Remove from old motor 4 ring segments that hold rubber motor seal onto the motor.
Remove water pan gasket from the old motor. Try not to damage it as you may have to buy a new one (HERE).

Work backwards to assemble it back together. Use weatherstripping glue to glue the gasket back. DO NOT put it back onto the water pan the same day - let the glue dry completely
