Kirby Ultimate G vacuum nozzle uses same nozzle casing as Kirby G5, Kirby G6, Kirby Ultimate G Diamond edition and Kirby Sentria vacuum models. The nozzle casting has aerodynamic shape that allows to spread the suction more or less evenly throughout entire perimeter.
Be careful when setting the Kirby on a hard surface floor. Even though the hooks on the casting that hold the nozzle on the bar in the front of the unit were reinforced, it they still sometimes break. When packaging Kirby vacuum for shipping we would recommend removing the nozzle from the unit. If transported while mounted on the Kirbby motor unit and dropped pretty hard the nozzle aluminum casting may bend. We had a few cases where entire nozzle casting cracked because it either was improperly packaged either box was dropped pretty hard.
